Are these things allowed in your carry on?

-Tylenol
-Birth Control Pills
-Cough Syrup

Will they want me to alert them that the pills are in there? I know that there are certain things where you are supposed to alert the staff that you have in your carry on.

The Tylenol and BCPs are not a problem. You do not have to declare them to the TSA agents, however, I do recommend that you keep them in a place that is easily accessible in the off chance that they ask to see them (I've never had them ask to see my meds and I carry 4-6 bottles of meds).

The other two answers about the cough syrup are incorrect. You CAN take a bottle of cough syrup that is over 3 ounces, you just need to remove it from your carry on and let the TSA agents know that you have it. Here's a link to that info:http://www.tsa.dhs.gov/travelers/airtrav...

The pills are no problem, but the cough syrup falls under the special regulations for liquids.

So it needs to be 100ml/3oz or smaller, and this and any other liquids need to fit in a quart-sized plastic zip-lock bag.

As long as they are in pill form there is no problem. The cough syrup has to be less than 3 oz. unless it is prescription.

You shouldn't have problems with the Tylenol, or birth control pills, however, if the cough syrup is in a container more than 3oz TSA will take it away from you. If you really need the Cough Syrup put it in your checked luggage and get some cough drops for the flight.

pills shouldnt be any problem. You can bring the cough syrup (entire bottle) too, but you got to take it out and let security see it.
