Has anyone used Priceline's "name your own price" program for int'l travel? What was your experience like? |
I'm going to Hong Kong at the beginning of April and I want to see if using Priceline and naming my own price will be worth it. I've never used priceline for travel, so I don't know if there would be a hassle. Plus, I already know going to Hong Kong from California is going to be long and include a layover so how bad could it really be?? Let me know! Thanks! I have found the pricelines doesnt save you much when it comes to international flights considering you have to be real flexible and the tickets are non changeable and dont acrue miles. So perhaps its best to pay the extra 20 dollars youre saving and buy a traditional ticket I have a friend that is going to Paris for spring break. She took a look at Priceline, got a great deal, but she has to leave a 24 hour or so window open for her departure. Because of her job, she can't do that. So, she is looking into more traditional ways of booking her airfare right now. If you have flexibility, Priceline just might be the way for you to go. If you don't, look into a more traditional booking engine. The one that I use for my travel is www.DreamVacationsUnlimited.com |
