Does anyone know of any airports where they don't herd you like cattle?

I live in Southern California and I have a friend who lives in Arlington, TX. He's planning to visit this summer. The thing is, I haven't seen him in about 10 years so I want our reunion to be somewhat special. If he flies into LAX, it will just be a "quick, toss your luggage in the trunk and hop in, we gotta go!" kind of thing. So my question is, does anyone know of any airports in So-Cal where you're still allowed to wait for someone by the terminal inside?

You can go into most, if not all, terminals. However, there are no airports in the US that allow non-passengers past security. The only way around this is if you work at the airport and have a security badge. So the best thing to do would be to arrange a meeting place near the baggage claim area.

I dont think since 9-11, try John wayne airport in southern calif.
in john wayn u can wait inside near the terminal.

None. 911.

try Long Beach Municipal Airport.

and see which airline your friend is flying with.

  • Can someone tell me how to recover 2 cameras left on an Aloha Airlines plane?

Contact the Airline at 1 (800) 367-5250. Ask if they have a lost and found number at Oahu. Hopefully someone turned them. Flight cleaning crews are sometimes known for pocketing left items.

  • Does Cuba allow American planes to fly over its airspace on the way to Jamaica or the Caymans?

Definitely. I fly over Havana countless times. There is a certain service ceiling that Cuba would not allow American carriers to fly below. I believe that no. is 15000ft.
