Need help with booking a vacation!?

would it be cheaper to book flight and hotel seperatly or get a vacation package. i'm trying to find whats cheapest.
also anything you think i should know please tell me . thanks

I'm assuing that you are in US. I usually book them together in expedia. In the vacations i took i was not able to find anything cheaper by booking seperately. But you cna probably find the same prices.
Please note that most of the cheaper prices are for tickets which are non-refundable and nonflexible. So you might want to watch out for it. If you are renting a car, make sure that it is the class of car that you want to drive. I once had SUV by default abd i was able to save 40 odd bucks by renting an economy car.
Have Fun!! Hope you are going somewhere warm :)

try and do research separately - usually its cheaper to book both together but sometimes you just cant find what you want -- I would rather pay a few dollars more and get exactly what I want instead of something that is handed to me (cause you never really know what your going to get)

it's not usually cheaper seperate, deals are made with major sites to give greater deals booking them together.
i've had great results with my own site that's powered by travelocity on the main search. beats expedia when i check. also my neighbor just booked last week for an unexpected funeral, got it cheaper with us adding in the hotel when they aren't even using it. just checking in and out for the better savings. gatestravelsite.com appreciate you looking, its never failed me when i've used it =)

do your research, but it is usually cheaper to book them together. i just booked a trip to vegas together on this site and saved 30%. you should check out http://www.travelcuse.com to book your trip. the site is an aggregator which means it takes offers from various online sites and shows you the best deals. good luck!
