Miniature Swiss Army knives -- are they legal on airplanes? |
I have heard those tiny 2" long Swiss Army knives (with a blade 1 3/8" long, plus tweezers, a toothpick and 1/2" long scissors blades) are now FAA legal. Does anyone know more? Will airport security let them go on-board? this is where I found the TSA approved: I am an employee of TSA , the guys who make your lives a living hell basically at the airport because i get paid to. r u kidding me. there knives, yes there illegal. I'm fairly certain they aren't legal. If they dont allow fingernail clippers, I dont think they will allow an actual knife, no matter how small the blade is. I've had them taken away before. better stow it, just in case. Knives of any kind are forbidden on board. |
