Have you had to hand over bags at Airport Security check points?

What was the experience like for you and what did you have to give up in order to pass through? Did it make you angry or did you just not care?
(ex. bottled water, can soda, hand lotions, nail clippers, etc.)

Go with the flow, why make it harder than it already is. You have the choice to either make it harder on yourself or easier on yourself. If everyone in line had their boarding pass and I.D. out the line would move twice as fast. But they don't and that is what really slows things up. So have your boarding pass and I.D. out and smile like you know something they don't.

On December 18th, 2007, I was getting ready for my first domestic flight alone from LaGuardia to Cleveland.
After my mom got regular ticket ready, employees put our gym bag (which contains clothes) onto conveyor belt.
After that, my mom escorted to Boarding Area pass.
Security said, "PLEASE HAVE YOUR BOARDING PASS AND GOVERNMENT ISSUE PHOTO ID READY!!"
"PLEASE HAVE TAKE OFF YOUR JACKET, SHOES, ELECTRIC DEVICE!"
" NO LIQUIDS ALOUD!"
It was long time that I wasn't used. I usually get line-sick when I stand too long, but I waited.
At security, I took off my shoes, jackets, keys, wallets, backracks into basket which goes thru X-ray and I ask them to "Can you hand inspect cameras, please?"
And they said sure and they did because it had undeveloped films.
Line took about 20-30 minutes I think.
