Can a 18 year old use his school id to fly?

Eighteen is considered an adult and must have a valid government issued form of ID such as a state issued ID (not very expensive to get), passport, or driver's license.

You can travel without an ID nowadays since everything is 100% screened, but you will have to go through extra security measures at the security checkpoint, which takes extra time and trouble. I would not recommend this though, it's just way too much trouble to have to go through at security checkpoint.

I believe you need to check that out with authorities at airports. Most states require a state ID card.

I believe you need a State issued I.D. or passport if you don't have a driver's license. But you should really check with the airline you're planning to fly with to be sure.

Yea,,, and 18yo can use his "SCHOOL ID" if you're pretty much accompanied by your mother.

Other than that, you're old enough to actualy obtain a drivers license or a state ID... Those are what you need if you're traveling alone. (",)
