Booking flight online?

since I have never booked a flight online, how reliable is it?? And which is the best, Expedia, travelocity or orbitz? Any advise? Thank you

All I have found to be are reliable,I've booked with each.Don't be afraid, just look for all the security seals of a good standing. One of the best ways to secure your ticket is through pay pal.
I've given you a site to explore.
Personally I like use www.bookingbuddy.com -it allows you to connect to all of the travel internet options with little effort from one site location. While comparing all the different prices and times.
Happy traveling.

Ok, so Monika, if you "looked at bookingbuddy and found my flight" then why chose this 1 as "best" answer? Please explain. I want to improve my answers, and will be checking back here for your comments. Report It

Any site will walk you through the process. Just be sure it's the flight you want, because refunds are difficult or impossible to receive. Read everything closely. Good luck!

I think Expedia, Travelocity, and Orbitz are all quite good. You can also try Hotwire or Priceline, they're really good too...of course they have their price differences. it may not be so much, but you should check around well before booking.

Its so easy to book flights online. Times have changed. We use to make calls but now you can do it yourself. Just like my website, it is hooked with travelocity. Speed and quality and security comes with it. As long as you see the lock sign when your booking a flight or buying somethin online, you know it's safe. Where are you plans. Happy trip.

It's easy. I've booked dozens of flights online, and never had any problems (knock on wood!). My favorite strategy is to use http://www.bookingbuddy.com to find the best price, then go direct to the airline's own website to do the actual booking. Reason is, if you need service on the ticket before or during your travels, if you booked through a 3rd party--like Orbitz or Expedia or even a local travel agency--you'll have to go through them to resolve any ticket issues. If you booked direct from the airline, then they take care of you first--no hassles, just take care of it right at the airport.

to cut through the deals, you should check out http://www.travelcuse.com to book your trip. the site is an aggregator which means it takes offers from various online sites and shows you the best deals. good luck!
