PLus size and flying has anyone had a problem with NWA?

OK I am 5ft 9 in and 300 lbs. I am flying NWA has anyone had a problem flying them or are they cool. I have never had a problem with southwest but worried since i gained 30 lbs since flying them. Please let me know what experiences you have had with them.

thanks

I think that NWA is similar to most carriers as far as their rules for larger passengers. As long as you can fit in the seat without having to raise the arm rest or infringing on the passengers on each side of you it will be ok. If you are not able to fit in the seat they may charge you for two seats. I haven't read of any major problems with NWA in this area though.

You may need to bring a seat belt extender with you (I'm not sure if they will have one you can use or if you need to provide your own) in order to secure your seat belt. My best friend used to bring her own with her so I'm unsure if the airlines provide for one if you are unable to use the belt that is in the seat.

im pretty sure that as long as you fit in the seat and you don't obscure the seats next to you (the minimal space that they have to get through to go to the bathroom doesn't count), you are good to go.

Also, did you know that if 185 other people that weighed as much as you were on the same flight, you guys would weigh more then the plane?!

Actually yes. Airlines consider minors to be those under 12. A 16 year old could walk up to a ticket counter and purchase a ticket with cash.

I can't guarantee that I am right, but since flight attendants on international flights have to be at least bilingual, it would make sense that the pilots are as well.
