Have You Ever Flown On People Express Airlines-80s? |
As WBLS used to advertise the plane with two noses on the wing, what was your impression of the original airbus service where the Cabin crew collected the fares on board the Jet ( well from Gatwick to New York anyway) People Express and Laker Skytrain were trailblazers ahead of their time. The concept was good, but the systems then available were not able to support the concept. The only Problem People Express had was bad management. The flights themselves were okay. Chaotic, hecktic, miserably full and cramped, mayhem, miserable. Thank God Continental bought them and put them out of their misery. AND ours! |
