What's the best way to travel from the airport to the city in Acapulco, Mexico?

I am arriving and i need to get to my hotel...what is the best and easiest option. I have never been there before...also does anyone know of any cool smaller towns near Acapulco that are less touristy yet nice?

'Wrenched' is correct,hotel shuttle is best.
Second choice would be a taxi which runs about 130 pesos.

Something easy and fun to do is to take a bus to Puerto Marques, a beach town on a ribbon of sand lined with great inexpensive restaurants.The bus ride is the real attraction;the views from the top of the hill are magnificent. As the bus rambles along,the Bahia de Puerto Marques and the waves of Playa Revolacadero come into view.Both places offer a variety of water sports, including surfing and scuba diving.
You can catch a "colectivo" (5or6 pesos) from
Puerto Marques to visit the quieter and less crowded Playa Bonville.

Use the hotel shuttle it should be the safest and best way to get to the hotel.

Take a shuttle or an authorized taxi, they usually have stablished rates.

Go to "El Fuerte" its in Acapulco but its a nice museum
