Going to Acapulco in 3 weeks.? |
What area of the bay should my gal and I stay at? I suggest the El Cano hotel. It's just a wonderful one, you can see and hear the waves of the ocean under your balcony. The breakfast is great and you'll find everything you need just around. There is a strip of hotels all along the same beach - Marriott, Hyatt, Holiday Inn, etc. We stayed at the Holiday Inn because it was one of the most inexpensive. It was okay - what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. If I remember correctly, it was pretty much in the middle of the strip. I did stay at the Marriott Stellaris Hotel (there's another Marriott downtown, so that's why I included the full name), also on the strip, and that was unbelievable. There's an actual river and bridge in the lobby. As you would expect, that one is a bit more pricey though. Good luck! Have fun...I loved Aruba! Hotel Doria - no frills great staff , bed t.v. shower -$40 a night. Right in the middle ( Wal Mart , Hooters. Got a little hot plate/ grill one man cook thats friendly and good. KFC chicken and International coffee 25 yards away. Beach less than a mile and a pleasant walk. I have #'s if you want - email me. |

There are not any direct buses to Oaxaca. That is a fact. You have to take a bus to Mexico City and from there to Oaxaca. It is a long, long trip, and the highways in Oaxaca are not very well const... A beach has many personalities - Acapulco is a bay with a south ( airport ) and North ( marina ) end. The southen end has a more $$$ feel to it as that is where Diamante is located. New upscale dev... Over 2 million ...Baby'O Magic Or just jump from one disco to another on the principal avenue, you will have the time of your life. Congrats ...GREAT, Acapulco is called the beach of eternal Spring, You don't have to worry in february. Sometimes from September to November it rains a lot and you might encounter a hurricane, but the r... It's not in old town ( north end of bay ) but more in the center but I stayed at Hotel Doria . It's really y a bed shower and t.v. but when I go to Acapulco I am not in the hotel room muc... I have been EXACTLY where you are at. I searched and searched. You cannot do what your trying to do from the computer keyboard. I tried ! You must come down here and hit the pavement. There just no... No I certainly would not consider it walking distance. You will find 30 cab's waiting for you to go wherever you want. Grab one and tell him where you want to go. Along the drive look for some... |
