Where to stay in Old Town, Acapulco?

Going to Acapulco soon and want to stay in the old town area.
Any good hotels there?
Any other info would be great too!!

It's not in old town ( north end of bay ) but more in the center but I stayed at Hotel Doria . It's really y a bed shower and t.v. but when I go to Acapulco I am not in the hotel room much. It's $40 a night U.S dollars but the staff and convenience for me was the deciding factor. Phone # 01152 - 744-481-0725.
The 4 or 5 people that work there are great ! Just like family. I had full access to the fridge for my beer storage. They will help you out whatever you need. They have 2 old guys that have a small little kitchen and will make whatever you want. A little clean pool in the courtyard, fridge right there with your cold beer , forty bucks a night - come on .......
Walk 30 yards to the main strip and you got KFC and International coffee shop. A half mile down the strip from the hotel is Walmart and Hooters. Hooters has football on the wide screen out on the porch to people watch.............. Need old town Acapulco ? Take the bus 2 or 3 miles down and there you go.....Maybe $1 for the bus and it is an experience.
