DIning in Acapulco? |
Any good suggestions for dining and going out in Acapulco. My wife and I will be there in August. I haven't been to Acapulco in 10 yrs, so I'm sure it has changed since i was there last. We are in our late 20's and enjoy having a good time. Here you have a guide for restaurants. We were there at Valentine's, and were quite surprised at all the American places, like Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Cafe, Pizza Hut, McDonald's. Not sure if that helps or not, but more of a comment. I went to Acapulco with my girlfriend and we were able to get very good deals. There is a restaurant a block away from Hotel Excalibur that charges about $3 US for a complete lunch. If you are fluent in Spanish, try talking to the locals and ask them where the best (and economic) places are. On the other hand, if you are looking for fine, elegant dining, most of those restaurants are located towards the Airport. Just keep in mind that these may be very expensive and won't satisfy you as much (hungerwise). Lastly, if you see a restaurant named in English, it is most likely that it will charge you twice as much for a meal that you can get at a local restaurant. |
