Best Maya Site near Acapulco?

I'm going to Acapulco soon, but I really want to visit some ancient Mayan sites. Hopefully a few hours car ride or something.

Also What are some other interesting things to do around the area?

You can reach archeological sites from Acapulco but not Mayan sites, they are concentrated in Yucatan or in Guatemala.
