Is the hyatt regency in acapulco a good hotel to stay on for spring break?

Me and a few guy friends are gonna be staying at the hyatt in acapulco for spring break next week. I was just curious if anyone has stayed there recently or can tell me about their experience. How is the food, bars, pool side entertainment, service? anything will be appreciated ... also is it easy to walk down the beach to other hotels during the day time to party at other hotel pools? thanks!

The Hyatt is an excellent choice, I've seen alot of action at the Copacabana too , they have an awesome entertainment team there which makes your holiday sooo much fun....

The Hyatt is a very nice hotel, the pool area is nice, they bring you drinks and everything, and the service is fantastic. There is a breakfast buffet that you just can't miss, it is greeeeeeeeat. I don't know about the rooms because I just used the facilities as a Hyatt Club member, didn't stay there since I stayed with my parents, they live in Acapulco.

You can reach pretty much any hotel from the beach (The Hyatt has a beach in the front but I wouldn't recommend to swim there, there are a lot of boats and it's kind of dirty...) where the Spring break action is is at La Condesa Beach, where there is a long strip of hotels. It is not walking distance from the Hyatt but just a five minute ride in car or bus. Clubs you MUST check out are: El Alebrije which is right across the street from the Hyatt, Andromedas in La Condesa area, and Palladium. Also Disco Beach, all of these clubs are fantastic for spring breakers, the drinks are gooooooood and the music to die for. You are going to have lots of fun.
Hotels where the spring break action is at are Fiesta Americana Condesa, ElCano, and pretty much anyone in La Condesa area.

Have fun and enjoy my city!!

my dad's company held meetings there last year, and they always pick great places...so if a big company like Prudential is going to book, it, I'd say it's a good choice.

Be sure to check with the hotel before booking, some hotels in Acapulco state that they DO NOT cater to spring breakers.
Also you wouldn't want some 300 pound father crushing your skull because you did a balcony dive on his toddler wadding around in the pool.
Good luck

it's one of the best especially because it's located in the best tourist zone to party and they do great pool parties. i just can tell you go for it!!!

I think it is, join tripadvisor and get involved in feedback from other's who have recently stayed.
