Grand Mayan in Acapulco.?

what can you say about this resort? What attractions should I see there?

Dont listen to VIP, acapulco is awesome. I was there last summer, the grand mayan is a great resort, the service is great and the beach is really cool. Acapulco is the place to party, great night clubs (you should definitely go to "alebrije", "senior frogs" (the view of the bay is amazing) and "baby o"), you will have the time of your life. The grand mayan is the place to stay, you should also check the princess hotel.

I was in Acapulco in 1976. I drove a rented jeep backwards around town drunk with a bunch of drunken friends until we crashed into a tortuga stand. Luckily we were on a huge ship in the bay, so we escaped by fishing boat before the police got there, if they got there at all. There was a dead guy in the bay floating around near the ship with shark bites. One attraction I remember was a woman who sat in the plaza gathering pesos begged from tourists by hordes of children. They would run up and hand her the coins and she would hide them in a big bag under her huge pink skirt. The Grand Mayan huh? Have fun.

I stayed at Las Brisas but we saw the Grand Mayan and it was very pretty. Go to Baby O's to party. It's like 20.00 to get in and its all you can drink. Make sure you see the cliff divers while you're there. They are world famous and there's like a dinner deal you can get to go with the show. Kookaburra is a great restaurant. They are expensive but have wonderful food and a beautiful view. We just went last month. Senior Frogs wasn't as happening' as I thought it would be but the food was the most American we had. There's a great market downtown with all kinds of souvenirs really cheep. It's set up like a flea market and they will negotiate prices. Defiantly go there before you visit the retail shops. Get a rental car, they are like $25.00 a day and cabs are $5.00 each way. Oh and the ATM's give you a better exchange rate than the banks!
