Been there many times. Mexico City, Acapulco, Mazatlan, Teotihuacan, Taxco, Michoacan, Guerrero, San Lorenzo, Tula, Durango, Zacatecas, San Felipe, Mexicali, Calexico, Ensenada, Tijuana, Gomez Palacio, etc.

Cabo San Lucas is nice and so is Puerto Vallarta. Avoid driving around by yourself and be prepared to tip police when you do, the government is extremely corrupt. If you go anywhere except the two places I have mentioned, you will see chicks doing horses and some other bizarre stuff you are probably not ready for. Stick to where the wealthy folks flock.

politically is in power transfer crisis
economics is ok, but poorer and richer depends where you see.
people is the best part of country, most is friendly.
The nature is awesome for all likes and dislikes, too much color everywhere.
It's cheaper to go Acapulco or Mazatlan than most of the other caribbean places.

Depends where you go. I personally dont like Acapulco too many tourist.
