Have you ever been too CASTLE FRASER in scotland?

Yes, twice, most recently on a vacation in July 2007 where we spent 2 weeks driving around the country. It's in the heart of castle country in Aberdeenshire. The castle itself has a nice tour. we stopped in the tea room afterward for tea and scones. They had a collection of servant's bells displayed, which was a nice insight into life back in the day... The walled gardens had lovely flowers in the summer. In the castle's courtyard, we ran into a tame duck named Charlie who begged us for breadcrumbs. All in all, a nice castle.

Other castles that I'd recommend in the area include Dunnottar Castle, a spectacular ruin on the coast, Craigievar Castle, a fairy-tale like family tower castle, and Crathes Castle, which has fantastic gardens.
